While Azerbaijan was ranked high for its culinary delights, neighboring Kazakhstan came in at number two in the adventure tourism category. Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have both been named some of the best destinations to visit, according to the 2018 National Geographic Russia Traveler Awards.
