Some pin-cushioning above 50mm. But very little distortion at 50mm. So, the lens doesn't really have a "sweet spot" - 50mm is where it is best all around - unless chromatic aberration is likely to happen - then you'll want to stay away from 50mm. As a general rule never shoot this lens stopped down beyond f/8.
