While not what I would consider a true "macro" lens, the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 Di Macro Lens delivers a best-in-class . 32x MM (Maximum Magnification) - a much higher number than the Canon equivalents deliver. Unfortunately, I have not found the image quality at near minimum focus distances to be good.
