Whilst there's been no official news, AP seems to think this means the end for Nikon DX DSLRs. Apparently, 35 Nikon DSLR lenses - many of them for APS-C - were quietly discontinued back in 2022, so it makes sense to assume the DX F-mount eco-system is reaching end-of-life...
