In the navigation pane, go to “Computer Configuration” ➔ “Policies” ➔ “Windows Settings” ➔ “Security Settings” ➔ “Local Policies” ➔ “Audit Policy”. In the right pane, double-click the “Audit logon events” policy to open its properties window. Select the “Success” and “Failure” checkboxes, and click “OK”.
