A 60/40 cotton-polyester blend is less likely to shrink than 100% cotton, but there may still be some shrinkage. To minimize shrinkage, it's recommended to follow the care instructions on the sweater's label, and to wash it in cool or lukewarm water, and avoid drying it on high heat.
