What is the best ISO and F-stop settings?

If your indoors with moderate lighting, try ISO 400 or 800. Decide how much depth of field you need. If you're taking a portrait, try a shallow depth of field with f/1.4. If you're taking a picture of a group, use a medium f-stop like f/4 or f/5.6.
