It depends on what kind of pictures you are taking. Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) forbade making images of animate things, things that have a soul or spirit, such as humans, animals, jinn, and or angels. Anything that is inanimate is ok, such as trees, rivers, mountains, cars , planes etc.
