Samsung led the overall India mobile market in the first quarter of 2022. While Chinese company Xiaomi led the overall smartphone market with a 24 percent share, followed by Samsung at 19 percent. The affordable smartphone segment (less than Rs 7,000) declined 29 percent annually, according to a research report by CMR.
