With the iPhone 12 Pro and later, you can capture photos in RAW format, which offer higher quality and greater flexibility for editing but take up more space than photos stored as JPGs. Under the Photo Capture, turn on the switch next to Apple ProRAW if you wish to capture photos in RAW format.
