Yes! I agree that focusing on our relationship and communication is a key step here.

Here are a few things I think would be helpful right now:


Communication Skills:  Would you like to explore some books together? We could look at "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" by John Gottman or something more focused on improving communication skills as a couple, "Nonviolent Communication" by Marshall Rosenberg.

Mindfulness & Meditation: I'd also love to try practicing mindfulness and meditation together. I think it would help us to be more present in the moment. There are some great apps for this like Headspace or Calm.  

Date Nights: We could schedule regular date nights specifically dedicated to reconnecting on a deeper level.
