Can a 3.0 USB work on 3.2 port?

Each endpoint device takes a direct up and down path for data. The slowest device in the direct path limits the speed. So a USB 3.2 device in a 3.0 port will perform at a 3.0 speed. A 3.0 device in a 3.2 port will perform at a 3.0 speed.
