A workaround - Go to settings>camera>formats and turn on Apple ProRAW. Then go into camera and turn ProRAW on at top of screen. Take photos. Now open in a raw photo editor such as Adobe Lightroom or Darkroom etc. Look at the sharpening settings!! Turn them down, off or adjust to taste. Sorted :)
