Blonsky (5) in 1929 found the highest mean IQ for chil- dren born in spring. Pintner (13) then reported on 4925 cases and found the lowest mean IQ for the winter months, January to March. The greatest seasonal differences was only 1.7 IQ points, but it was statistically reliable.
