What ISO when using flash?

In bright light the ISO needs to be kept low in order to prevent problems with overexposure caused by sync speed errors. When starting out, Auto ISO can work well. The camera usually sets ISO 400, though it can be from 100 to 1600. Once you have some experience, you can then choose the setting manually.
