Yes. The only good scene in “The Godfather, Part III” is where he makes his confession to a priest about killing his own brother. He clearly regrets what he did, and he feels that he is beyond redemption. Even the much colder and more diabolical version of Michael Corleone at the end of Part II shows signs of regret.
