Why is my Sony A6400 not focusing?

Make sure the focus mode switch is set to MF. If the lens is a zoom lens, make sure that the lock switch is unlocked. Try manually turning the focus ring on the lens. If the focus ring does not turn, remove the lens from the camera body.
