Out of all racing classes, F1 has the fastest lap times (on normal circuits that is). F3 is one of the feeder classes to F1, with F2 inbetween and GP3 as a (slightly faster) alternative to F3. Cars are smaller, less powerful hand have a lot less downforce leading to much lower cornering speeds.
